Michele Tocca

Michele Tocca (Subiaco, 1983)

Tocca trained in Italy, Belgium and the UK where she completed an MA, Painting, at the Royal College of Art, London (2011). His painting moves from live observation and execution as a continuous overlap between perceptual immediacy and the re-presentation of aesthetic questions, visual archetypes and critical reflections on the distances between process and metaphor, naturalism and its paradoxes, time and history.

Recent solo and double personals include: Hm, He, Ha, Coppola Foundation, Vicenza, 2024 (with Pesce Khete); Poca Notte, z2o Sara Zanin, Rome 2024; Michele Tocca. Repoussoir, GAM – Galleria Civica di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Turin 2023.
