Filippo Riniolo

Filippo Riniolo lives and works in Rome, where he graduated in 2011 from the Academy of Fine Arts. His research embraces poetic themes, political, social, historical and topical themes. Fields of interest include the relationship between body and power, sexual diversity studies, gender studies, and post-colonial studies.

His research tools include installation, performance, sound and video and also paintings.

Riniolo has participated in several solo exhibitions, including fiere in Torin and A crow Upside Down in Rome in 2023, Selezioni in Rome at Museo MAXXI in 2021, dell’eroina e dell’incenso at Traffic Gallery in Bergamo in 2020, se tu li guardi bene e li ascolti at Spazio44 in 2018, Loro at Casavuota (Rm) in 2017, A jouful sense at work for the Milan Furniture Fair in 2016, Invisible hand at MauMau Gallery in Istanbul, conclusion of an artist residency in 2015, La sua presenza at Sponge Arteconteporanea (Pergola) in 2014, LifeLong learning at CIAC Museum in Genazzano in 2012.
