Rudy De Amicis (Pescara, 1973)

Raised in the connective and magmatic fabric of the autonomous street-punk scene, he sometimes does not want to respond rationally to questions, even though he is, potentially, an excellent conversationalist. His research is primarily driven by an expressive solitude that seeks to engage in an intimate and direct way. Over time, he has cultivated a process that transforms from dialogue into a stream of consciousness, spanning from theater to painting, from performance to the experimentation of micropigmentation techniques. He develops and proposes a version of reality that is raw, unfiltered, without illusions—just as it is. Or perhaps, just as it should be.
