Valentina D’Amaro

Valentina D’Amaro (Massa, 1966) lives and works between Milan and Lunigiana.

She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera, Milan. She has exhibited in numerous national and international public and private spaces, including: Guang Dong Museum of Art, Canton, China; Prague Biennale, Prague; Sovereign European Art Prize, Barbican Centre, London; Hangart-7, Salzburg, Austria; 54th Venice Biennale, Palazzo Te, Mantua; MMKK, Klagenfurt, Austria; Royal Palace, Milan; PAC, Milan; Triennale, Milan; Palazzo della Permanente, Milan; MAC, Lissone; Villa Reale, Monza; PAC, Ferrara; GAM, Udine; Palazzo della Ragione, Verona; Trevi Flash Art Museum, Trevi; Museo Michetti, Francavilla al Mare; Palazzo Parasi, Cannobio; Visconteo Castle, Legnano; Palazzo Ducale, Massa.
She won the 6th Cairo Prize in 2005, Cairo Communication.

In 2016, her work was included in the prestigious publication Vitamin P3: New Perspectives in Painting by Phaidon.
